The Artist (Warner Bros.) – Hollywood, 1927. The actor Georges Valentin (Jean Dujardin) is a silent movie star, but his career gets threatened by the coming of sound movies. While he struggles to save his career, Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo), an extra of his movies climbs up to the top of fame. Directed by Michel Hazanavicius.
The Dark Knight Rises (Warner Bros. Pictures) – Gotham city’s streets are clean and ridded of criminals and Batman (Christian Bale) is just a memoir. Bane (Tom Hardy) has come to collect revenge against a Batman in no shape for the battle. Could this be the end for the Dark Knight? Also starring Anne Hathaway as the cunning cat burglar. Brave (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) – The impulsive Mérida, King Fergus and Queen Elinor’s daughter, is a free soul, very skillful with the bow and the arrow. When her mother tells her that the moment to choose a husband has come, Mérida challenges the tradition and puts in risk the whole kingdom. Directed by Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman and Steve Purcell.
Something Borrowed (Warner Bros.) – On her 30th birthday, Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin) has an affair with Dex (Colin Egglesfield), her best friend Darcy’s (Kate Hudson) fiancé. Everything gets messy when Dex confesses his real feelings to Rachel, leading her to make a choice between friendship and love. Directed by Luke Greenfield.
