The three original comedy series will premiere in the Caribbean this Sunday, January 11th, simultaneously with the United States

Miami, FL – January 5, 2014 – HBO inaugurates its slate of original programming for 2015 with the premiere of the new original comedy series Togetherness, along with the return of the critically acclaimed comedies Girls, for its fourth season, and Looking, in its second season, this Sunday, January 11th, beginning at 22:00 hrs. AST* in the Caribbean, simultaneously with the United States.

The Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-winning comedy series Girls (22:00 hrs.) returns for a fourth season composed of 10 episodes, following the misadventures of a group of 20-something-year-old friends in and out of New York City. In the first episode, titled “Iowa,” after a congratulatory dinner with her parents, Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Adam (Adam Driver) pack up the last of her boxes and discuss “the plan” for their soon-to-be long-distance relationship. Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi (Ebon Moss Bachrach) perform for a distracted crowd at a downtown restaurant during brunch, while Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) signs for her diploma with her parents, who make a bigger deal out of the event than she thinks necessary. Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is confronted by Rickie (Natasha Lyonne), Beedie’s (Louise Lasser) daughter, and later seems bewildered by Hannah’s impending departure.

Created by and starring Lena Dunham, Girls is executive produced by Dunham, Judd Apatow, Jenni Konner, Ilene S. Landress (HBO’s Mildred Pierce), Bruce Eric Kaplan (HBO’s Six Feet Under), Murray Miller (HBO’s Williams-Poole: 7 Days in Hell) and Paul Simms.

Immediately following the premiere of Girls is the television debut of Jay and Mark Duplass, Togetherness (22:30 hrs.), following four adults nearing 40, living under the same roof and struggling to keep their relationships and dreams alive. In the series premiere, “Family Day,” Brett (Mark Duplass), a sound designer with a wife and two kids, tries to convince his best friend Alex (Steve Zissis), a struggling actor who has just been evicted, to stay in LA. Brett’s wife Michelle (Melanie Lynskey) deals with her directionless older sister Tina (Amanda Peet), who’s visiting from Houston. Following a group outing at the beach, Michelle and Brett clash while Tina confronts an ex with the help of Alex. The comedy explores deeper issues related to friendship, careers and approaching middle age, celebrating the small, everyday moments of life that feel epic.

Composed of eight episodes, Togetherness is executive produced by Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass; co-executive produced, by Stephanie Langhoff; with consulting producers Amanda Lasher, Caroline Williams and Steve Zissis, and line producer Carolyn Craddock.

Closing the night of premieres is the original comedy-drama series Looking (23:00 hrs.), which returns for a 10-episode second season with its first episode, “Looking for the Promised Land.” Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez) and Dom (Murray Bartlet) head to the Russian River to stay at Lynn’s (Scott Bakula) weekend cabin for some relaxation and bonding. Though Patrick wants to lay low, the guys end up at a booze party in the woods after running into a Faerie. Meanwhile, Patrick mulls over what he wants back in the city, and Dom looks in the house for clues about Lynn’s old life.
