HBO Latin America and E-networks form agreement
Miami, FL – HBO Latin America and E-Networks, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, have formed a partnership to transmit a variety of HBO and MAX channels on its pay TV service, already available for customers to subscribe to as of last week. E-Networks is the first affiliate partner in Guyana to offer its subscribers quality programming from HBO.
“HBO Latin America is very excited to have partnered with E-Networks to make it the first cable operator in Guyana to offer premium content from HBO. We have a lot of exciting programming premiering throughout the rest of this year, such as the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire which premiered on Sunday simultaneously with the United States, and we are happy to be able to offer this great premium package to customers,” said Javier Figueras, Corporate Vice President of Affiliate Sales for HBO Latin America.
Through this agreement, E-Network customers can subscribe to the HBO/MAX Premium Package, which includes HBO, HBO East, HBO Family, HBO 2, HBO Signature, HBO Plus, HBO HD, MAX, MAX Prime and MAX HD. Subscribers can access all of HBO’s exclusive and award-winning content, including original series, films and documentaries, along with comedy specials, concerts and top blockbuster movies. The HBO/MAX Premium Package offers over 300 new titles per month, all with no commercial breaks.
In additional to the premium package, a variety of basic channels are also now available, including several in high definition: A&E, A&E HD, AXN, AXN HD, E! Entertainment Television, Sony Spin, Sony Entertainment Television, Sony Entertainment Television HD, The Biography Channel, The History Channel, The History Channel HD, Warner Channel and Warner Channel HD.
