Higgs & Johnson hosts Executive Director of TerraLex
Terri Pepper Gavulic delivers presentation on leveraging network membership
George Town, Grand Cayman, March 14, 2017 – Higgs & Johnson recently welcomed Terri Pepper Gavulic, Executive Director of TerraLex, a leading global network of more than 155 top law firms, to its headquarters at Ocean Centre, Nassau, Bahamas. Gavulic met with attorneys from the firm’s Cayman and Bahamas offices, as well as management and marketing personnel to discuss strategies for leveraging network membership.
Gavulic entered the legal industry in the late 1980s after stints working on Wall Street as an IPO Manager, as an account liaison in a public relations agency, and in marketing and member services roles for national membership-driven organizations such as Century 21 Real Estate and All Points Relocation Services. In the early 2000s she joined Hildebrandt Consulting, which at the time was the leading management consultancy in the legal profession. Her clients included law firms of every size and make-up, including global firms and a number of TerraLex member firms. Gavulic joined TerraLex in 2016 as Executive Director, bringing with her the right blend of experience and expertise to help advance the strategic growth objectives of TerraLex.
Higgs & Johnson is a founding member of TerraLex and is the member representative for both The Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. Partner, Surinder Deal, served as a director of TerraLex from 2005-2014. In 2014, she was named TerraLex Lawyer of the Year and was appointed Director Emeritus.
