On Sunday 25.08.2013 about 3:45 pm West Bay Officers  received a report of an MVA/hit and run involving a child on Nettie Rivers Lane, West Bay.  Officers attended the location and no vehicle nor child was seen.  Officer observed at the scene of the accident blood and other evidence that may have come from the victim who was hit.

The child is confirmed to be 8 yrs. old and is being treated at the GT Hospital where he was taken by private citizens. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

One man was subsequently located and arrested.
