Holland America Line announces ‘Explore 4’ early bookings savings for 2014
SEATTLE, July 29, 2013 — /PRNewswire/ — Holland America Line is enticing travelers to book early for the 2014 season with four exceptional offers under the “Explore 4” early booking promotion. Explore 4 focuses on four value-added exclusive extras for guests who book on select December 2013 holiday cruises and 2014 sailings. To receive all four offers together, bookings must be made by Oct. 15, 2013.
The Explore 4 benefits include a free Signature Beverage Package or beverage card, a free specialty restaurant dinner, free or reduced fares for third and fourth guests in the same stateroom and 50 percent reduced deposits. Guests may receive all four offers when booking a qualified itinerary.
“With the Explore 4 promotion, there is a real benefit to planning ahead and booking that dream cruise well in advance,” said Richard Meadows, Holland America Line’s executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs. “These offers add even more value to the Holland America Line experience, and by giving our guests four perks under one promotion, we’re showing how worthwhile it is to book early.”
Guests looking to take advantage of the Explore 4 program can choose select itineraries to nearly all of Holland America Line’s global destinations, including Alaska and Alaska/Yukon Land+Sea Journeys, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Canada/New England, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico/Hawaii, Panama Canal, South America/Antarctica, the South Pacific and holiday cruises.
Depending on the cruise selected, guests receive either a free Signature Beverage Package or a beverage card. The beverage package, which is excluded on Caribbean and Mexico sailings, is valued at $100 per stateroom ($50 per person), per day and includes wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, sodas and coffee. The beverage card is applied to Caribbean and Mexico sailings and is valued at $100 per stateroom ($50 per person) and applies to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The beverage offer is only applicable on the cruise portions of Alaska Land+Sea Journeys.
The complimentary specialty dinner includes either the award-winning Pinnacle Grill for guests in an ocean-view stateroom or above, or the Italian restaurant Canaletto for guests in an interior stateroom. The Pinnacle Grill offers a tantalizing menu featuring Pacific Northwest steak and seafood dishes ranging from cedar-planked halibut with shrimp scampi to bone-in rib eye steaks. Canaletto showcases cuisine from regions throughout Italy.
With free or reduced third and fourth guests, a family of four can take a dream vacation to Europe, a tropical holiday to the Caribbean or longer journey to an exotic destination. In the Caribbean, fares start at $599 for the first and second, and the third and fourth guests sail free. An 11-day European cruise starts at $1,799 for an interior stateroom and $1,999 for an ocean-view stateroom for the first and second guests, and the third and fourth guests sail free.
By taking advantage of the 50 percent reduced deposit offer, guests will have more flexibility and time before paying the final deposit on their cruise.
