Horror on the Strip: 10 somber images from the Las Vegas shooting scene

More than 50 people are dead and 400 more injured after a gunman opened fire sniper-style on the crowd at a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night in what is now being called the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
Police say suspect Stephen Paddock turned the gun on himself as law enforcement broke into his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel and resort, where he fired an automatic weapon on the crowd below.
