Howard Hospitality Group (HHG) adds DARREN LAW to leadership team in Cayman Islands
George Town, Cayman Islands – June 12, 2017 – Howard Hospitality Group (HHG), an international hotel investor, developer and operator, today announced the appointment of Darren Law as senior vice president of operations and general manager of the Margaritaville Beach Resort Grand Cayman. A seasoned industry leader, Law rounds out the company’s Grand Cayman-based leadership team and will support HHG as it expands its hospitality portfolio on the island, as well as internationally.

Throughout his career, Law has proven his strong management and business acumen, bringing to HHG more than 25 years of global professional experience in project development, hotel/resort pre-openings, operations, and asset management across the United States, the Caribbean and Middle East. Most recently, Law served as the Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort general manager for Santa Barbara Plantation Curacao, the developer of the resort, marina, golf and luxury real estate. A native of Canada, Law began his career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts before working in settings such as Saudi Arabia, where he was general manager of Nofa Resort, a $1.5B development, including two luxury resorts, an African game resort, golf course, equestrian center, horse track and estate villas. Prior to that, Law served as CEO of the Amber Dune Resort and Spa in the Dominican Republic, managing director for the Hartling Group in Turks & Caicos; and general manager of Conrad Hotels and Resorts in Cairo, Egypt. Law served on the Board of Directors for the Curacao Hotel and Tourism Association, as well as a board member for the Cairo American College in Cairo, Egypt.
