HSA continues strong support for Healthcare Conference
CEO of the Health Services Authority, Ms. Lizzette Yearwood says each year the Healthcare Conference manages to deliver thought-provoking sessions that stimulate debate and serve to enhance the strategic development of healthcare delivery in the Cayman Islands.
“This year’s event, under the theme ‘Patient-Centred Care: Achieving Quality Outcomes’, will be no exception,” she confirms. “This year’s theme has particular relevance for the HSA. We are beginning to integrate the concept of patient-centred care into our practices and procedures and we are committed to researching strategies that will help us further in our aims. We are therefore excited to see the selection of world-renowned speakers to this year’s conference and by the prospect of putting into action the ideas that we will be hearing about.”
Ms Yearwood goes on to say that she is pleased that the 2012 20/20 Healthcare Conference is such an excellent example of a truly national event coordinated by a public/private partnership, both locally and internationally, and she believes that this is the way forward for the betterment of healthcare services.
“We are certain that the conference will have a positive impact on the delivery of healthcare services in the Cayman Islands,” she confirms.
