The Ministry of Education and Department of Education Services would like to bring the attached important dates and details to the attention of all parents and guardians of new and returning students in the Cayman Islands Government School System for the 2013/2014 academic year.

The official start of the school year is August 28th, 2013 and all students should return to school on this date unless otherwise specified in the table above.  Please ensure that your children attend their respective school on the correct dates.  For more information please contact the Department of Education Services at 945-1199.  The 2013/2014 School Calendar can be viewed on www.education.gov.ky and www.lhs.edu.ky
