The hot events happening at Cayman Islands Kimpton Seafire

By Danna Kaplan

All locals on the island, you know better than anyone that the Cayman Islands is where you want to be when the sun goes down and the music turns on. This summer, head to Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa for all things fiesta-focused. A quick trip to the property is guaranteed to bring surprises and we’ve detailed a few of our favorite happenings so you don’t have to:

Every Tuesday, Seafire brings a little fiesta to the island with Tacos y Tequila at Cocoloba from 5-9 PM. Groove to live music paired with as many $8 margaritas and $5 tacos you can handle. Margaritas feature seasonal ripe fruits from a local farmers market each week (think guava, starfruit, naseberries, mamey or pineapple). Plus, unobstructed views of Seven Mile Beach means a front row seat for the sunset. Make sure you stop by and celebrate each week.

Get the weekend started with First Fridays: Catch the beat with tunes straight from the DJ, and enjoy delicious treats for some late-night munching. Each event will have a different theme – Next event is set for June 1 (May is canceled due to Carnival!). The energy of the crowd gets started at AVE at 10PM and runs until 1AM.
