IS THE PEOPLE’S VOICE MISSING IN PARLIAMENT?

During an interview, Curacao Member of Parliament for the opposition party (political party KdNT); Mr. Menki Rojer expressed that the current government (Political party PAR and MAN) headed by Prime Minister; Mr. Eugene Philip Rhuggenaath (political party PAR), needed to be gone long time ago and that he will not cooperate to have that government remain in power. Curacao parliament (SVC-08) is in a situation where there is no majority to support the current government and the opposition is not willing to form a quorum with the government supporters in Parliament to give them a majority to swear in a new member of parliament, so that the governance of Mr. Rhuggenaath can remain in power. Among other things; Mr. Rojer stated that the Governor Lucille George-Wout is blemishing The Queen and The King!

COALITION PARTIES PAR AND MAN NEED TO RESIGN?

During the interview Rojer commented on the statement, that he nor the other members of the opposition are not going to assist the coalition government! 

Rojer clarified; “If it were for me, the political party PAR would have been gone since before yesterday and not tomorrow, which means, in any way to cooperate for this government to exist, I will not cooperate”. 

KdNT MP Rojer explained, “the fact is that this government has 3 or 4 weeks, that they do not have a majority and The Governor Lucille George-Wout needed to jump in“. 

MP ROJER CLAIMS OF “BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER FLOCKS TOGETHER…”

Menki Rojer exclaimed; “But the Governor does not jump in because she is like them! She is also busy promoting low life acts (in Papiamentu: “bagamunderia”)! Because, that can not happen in a state of rights, you cannot have a government that for more than 3 weeks do not have a majority”!

MP MENKI ROJER CLAIMS THE CURACAO GOVERNOR LUCILE GORGE-WOUT IS PARTIAL TOWARDS HER FORMER POLITICAL PARTY OVER GOOD GOVERNANCE

Rojer continued; “She needs to look after good governance, but she cannot do that, because all her “children” are in a political list of all other parties and these kinds of mess (in Papiamentu: “rotzooi”)! In 2016 she was the one who ran to the Netherlands to say that election must happen, where is she now? Where we have 3 weeks without a government that does not have a majority?”

THE GOVERNOR’S ROLE IN THIS…

According to Mr. Rojer the governor needs to the following: “She needs to submit the resignation of this government, and it then becomes a demissionary government, which is what she need to do. Because, the government do not have a majority, for 3 weeks already. So, you can not be looking for attaching pieces by pieces (in Papiamentu: “lapimentu”), because you (the governing coalition) yourself caused this.”

KdNT MP MENKI ROJIER CHARGES THAT THE PRIME MINISTER IS DOING THINGS SHAMEFULLY UNBECOMING AS A NATIONAL LEADER

Menki further declared; “The leader of the political party PAR and Curacao Prime Minister; Eugene Philip Rhuggenaath; knew that when Jeser El Ayoubi; (former member of parliament for political party PAR) submitted his resignation 3 weeks ago, that the government do not have a majority, right? When Raymond Philip “Pacheco” Romer; president of the Supreme Electoral Council of Curacao aka KSE, told him (Rhuggenaath), he needs to give in his seat (as Prime Minister) so that he (Pacheco) can continue with the other people (so that someone else becomes Prime Minister). He; (Rhuggenaath) knew that, and he did not do that (give his seat as prime minister)! You (Rhuggenaath and his government coalition) are very rude (in Papiamentu: “onbeschoft) if you lift your face and look at the opposition right now. Which means, you are doing a foolishness (in Papiamentu: “porkeria) as the head of a government. What you are doing does not make sense!“

IS THE GOVERNOR BLEMISHING THE NAME OF THE KING OF NETHERLANDS BY HER ACTIONS?

Mr. Rojer punctuated; “The governor is doing things like a low life scoundrel, (in Papiamentu: “Shouru”)! You understand? So, the governor is doing things of “Shouru” in here! Because, if the Kingdom put you here to look after good governance, you need to act as such! In 2017, you (the governor) when Gerrit Schotte (former Member of Parliament) moved that the government did not have the confidence of Parliament (in Papiamentu: “deskonfiansa”), you (Governor Lucille George-Wout) turned your back on him! And now you (Governor Lucille George-Wout) are doing like it is something like this, which means, you are doing foolishness! You (Governor Lucille George-Wout) are the one Blemishing (in Papiamentu: “mancha”) the Kingdom, The Queen and the King and everyone else, with the foolishness that you (Governor Lucille George-Wout) are doing!“
