Jack Daniel Distillery, oldest in US, celebrates 150th anniversary
SAN JUAN – In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Jack Daniel Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the U.S., Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is celebrating globally.
Jack Daniel’s is the maker of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey, Tennessee Honey, Tennessee Fire, Sinatra Select and
Country Cocktails as well as Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey.

The company will launch commemorative bottles of the 150th anniversary, revamp the distillery with new technology, carry out a global barrel scavenger hunt, hold a celebration in Lynchburg and a reception at the New York Stock Exchange to mark the celebrations.
In 1866, Jasper “Jack” Daniel placed his distillery at a source of limestone water flowing from a cave spring in Lynchburg, and today Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is found in more than 165 countries around the world.
The distillery has kept using Daniel’s distillation process, from the preparation of the barrel to aging the whiskey through 10 feet of charcoal.
