The purpose of the World Travel Awards is to recognize, honor, and celebrate excellence in all areas of the international travel and tourism industry.
A plethora of surprises were revealed during the 2023 World Tourism Awards (WTA) Gala Ceremony in Saint Lucia, which showcased the elite of the Caribbean and American tourism sector.
Jamaica took center stage after winning not one but three prestigious titles: “Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board”, “Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination,”and “Caribbean’s Leading Destination.”
This year, Jamaica was the best destination in the Caribbean, followed by Puerto Rico (Silver) and the Dominican Republic (Bronze).
