Jamaican injured in Cayman house fire sent back to Jamaica for treatment
The Jamaican woman who suffered severe burns in a suspected arson attack at a house in the Cayman Islands last month is being treated for her injuries in Jamaica.
Elaine Ricketts was flown to Jamaica on January 2 following the December 27 fire.
Elaine Harris, Jamaican Honorary Vice Consul in Cayman, said Miss Ricketts continues to improve.
The fire left 12 people homeless.
