Justice Minister shares Georgian reforms with Caribbean Sea countries

Today Georgia has 21st century e-governance and we are pleased to share it with all interested countries, Georgian Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani said at a high-level summit of the Caribbean Sea countries in Antigua and Barbuda.

Sharing Georgia’s e-governance system with the participants of the summit, Tsulukiani spoke of the country’s history of transformation from the gaining of independence through its modern reforms aimed at strengthening democracy.

Minister Tsulukiani also emphasized the importance of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and the Russian occupation of its regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).

Despite an aggressive neighbor and its occupation, Georgia has some of the best ratings in the world, including open governance, supremacy of law, ease of doing business, etc”, Tsulukiani said.

She said today Georgia chairs the Open Governance Partnership (OGP) which is proof of its international recognition.

Moreover, Georgia will host the 5th Global Summit in Tbilisi on July 17-19, 2018.
