Wednesday, August 21, 2019 (Del Mar, CA) – This September, KAABOO aims to have more to crow about beyond the celebration of KAABOO Del Mar’s fifth anniversary. The acclaimed music and arts festival, in partnership with Bai, will be attempting to break two internationally recognized records at its USAA Grandview stage over the course of its three-day festival happening September 13-15, 2019.

With its signature late night dance parties already a hit, KAABOO will invite nearly 9,000 participants to the floor to take part in the largest North American silent disco, as well as the world’s largest simultaneous running man. Dancers can look forward to tunes from DJs Rome Ramirez & LDonthecut (of Sublime With Rome), White Panda, Niiko x SWAE, DJ Will Hernandez, Erick Diaz, DJ C-Riz, and DJ Murphi Kennedy, plus special guest star appearances at the event, which spans two nights, Friday, September 13 andSaturday, September 14 from 10:00 PM-12:30 AM.

Also featured during the Silent Disco will be an outdoor screening of the critically acclaimed film Heavy Water. The surf film includes footage of jaw-droppingly beautiful shots of aerial surfing, including a scene of one of the film’s stars, Nathan Fletcher, jumping out of a helicopter onto a 20-foot wave. With a soundtrack produced by Peter Stefano (Porno for Pyros), the film will provide radical footage for all in attendance. Select members of the film will be in attendance for what will be the world’s largest film screening using silent disco technology.

Saturday single day as well as ULTIMATE HANG (VIP) passes to KAABOO Del Mar are now sold out, and remaining passes are going fast. HANG LOOSE (GA) and HANG FIVE (VIP) two-day and weekend passes, as well as single day passes for Friday and Sunday are still available at kaaboodelmar.com/get-yours. Three-day HANG TEN (VIP) passes are also still available.
