3 armed robberies Monday evening

#1 Kirk Freeport robbery

At approximately 6:45 pm on Monday 7 January 2013 four masked men entered the Kirk Freeport store in the Strand on West Bay Road. One brandished a handgun, held up staff and robbed a large amount of jewelry.

The robbers escaped and the police responded to the scene where an investigation is underway. A search is on for the suspects.

No shots were fired and no injuries have been reported.

Anyone having any information or who was in the vicinity of the Strand after 5 pm this afternoon Monday 7 January 2013 is asked to call the George Town CID at 9494222 or  800 TIPS.

Print#2 Savannah Liquor store robbery

Reflections Liquor For Less, Hirst Road, BT
an Armed Robbery was reported- Two males armed with a machete and gun. No shots fired, no reported injuries. Suspects fled on foot.

Police are on the scene investigating the incident.

Anyone having any information or who was in the vicinity of Reflections Liquor For Less, Hirst Road, BT after  8 pm this afternoon Monday 7 January 2013 is asked to call the Bodden Town CID at  947 2220 or 947 2240, or 800 TIPS.

#3  Stabbing and Robbery_ West Bay

At about 10:40 PM Monday 01/07/13 a report was received that a man was stabbed near the four way junction on Town Hall Road. Shortly after a man attended the West Bay Police Station bleeding from his throat, stating that he was attacked by two men who robbed him of approximately $9.00 and stabbed him in his throat.

The victim was unable to give description of accused persons or where they went. He was assisted by the WB Police and taken to the GT Hospital by Ambulance where he underwent emergency Surgery. His condition is considered serious.

The matter is under investigation by Det. Sergeant Morrison of the WB CID.
