Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman installs new officers and board
The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman installed its new officers and board members for the 2015-2016 year over brunch on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Held at Agua, the event brought together Kiwanians, their families and friends, as well as representatives from other local service organizations.
Daniella McGowan was installed as the club’s new President for the 2015-2016 year, taking over from now Past President, Tonicia Williams. President McGowan quoted during her installation, “Today I am honored to be installed as President of the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman and to serve our community and children alongside a group of some of the most dedicated and passionate people. I’m excited and enthusiastic about beginning a new journey with you all for the next year! I commit myself to helping build a better and stronger community.”
New officers inducted at the ceremony were President Elect, Martina Jackson, Vice President, Nicola Murray, Secretary, Linda Chapman Key, Treasurer, Ruud van der Pluijm, Assistant Treasurer, Martin Couch and Directors, Clement Lai, Kadi Merren-Pentney, Marnu van Rensburg, Monique Bush and Venesha McLean.
Outgoing President Tonicia Williams was presented with the President’s Award for her outstanding leadership during her presidency.
