Three-Day Weekend Kicks off the Return of the Destination’s Best Seasonal Activities
LAS VEGAS – Memorial Day weekend has long been the unofficial start of summer, and this year the long weekend marks the beginning of what’s in store as Las Vegas continues its comeback. Whether it’s soaking up rays poolside, heading out for a night on the town, or enjoying show-stopping entertainment, Vegas is the place to be May 28-31.
Fun in the Sun
The Citrus Grand Pool Deck, perfectly situated on the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino rooftop, features a sparkling infinity pool, restaurant and full bar, semi-private cabanas, a fire pit and backyard games. Citrus will welcome DJs Seany Mac and Sam I Am (May 29), Presto One and Mark Mac (May 30). Admission is free for hotel guests. Non-hotel guests can reserve a table or cabana to access the pool.
Get into an entertaining pool experience at DAYLIGHT Beach Club atMandalay Bay Resort and Casino where you can soak in the long-awaited summertime vibes. Relax and revel in exceptional service, ambiance and scenery with tunes provided by resident DJs E-Rock (May 28), DJ Drama (May 29), DJ Infamous and DJ E-Feezy (May 30) and DJ Envy (May 31). Join the hottest pool ticket in town as Temptation Sundays returns to Luxor Hotel and Casino bolder and better than ever for its 11th sizzling season. Las Vegas’ longest-running LGBTQ+ pool party will be held at Luxor’s North Pool every Sunday through September. Temptation Sundays is open to both hotel and non-hotel guests and reservations are required.
WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand keeps the action rolling all long weekend with music, cocktails and poolside snacks. Guests 21+ can also reserve daybeds, banquets, bungalows, and cabanas in the alluring atmosphere. Revelers can enjoy hot sounds from Loud Luxury on May 30. Occupancy restrictions are in place and reservations are required for cabanas and daybeds.
In the Club
Step inside the popular Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell Las Vegas and enjoy multiple rooms where DJ Franzen will play chart-topping songs, including top 40, EDM and hip hop Friday through Sunday. Stay late when the club transforms into Drai’s Lounge with hookah Thursday through Sunday. Reservations are required for entry to Drai’s Lounge.
Hakkasan Nightclub and the famous Hakkasan Grid are back and ready to be experienced. The club inside MGM Grand recently opened the main room to guests, turning the excitement up a notch. Usually open Friday and Saturday, the venue will welcome revelers Thursday through Sunday.
Friday and Saturday night will be hotter as Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomes club goers to party the night away to the sounds of DJ Crespo (May 28) and DJ Lema (May 29).
OMNIA Las Vegas at Caesars Palace embraces the sultry side of the long weekend with two intimate spaces – OMNIA Terrace and Heart of OMNIA. Take in stunning views of the Strip from the outdoor Terrace and enjoy exclusive bottle service and music from the state-of-the-art sound system.
Throughout the long weekend, TAO Nightclub at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas invites partiers to take in the music of DJs Javier (May 27), Romeo Reyes (May 28), Mike Attack (May 29) and Mustard (May 30) from a VIP table on the dance floor, enjoy bottle service in one of eight private skyboxes overlooking the main room or step out to the 40-foot terrace for views of the Las Vegas Strip.

Getting Around
Just in time for the long weekend the Las Vegas Monorail will resume operations at 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 27. The 3.9-mile elevated system along the Las Vegas Strip allows passengers to travel the length of the resort corridor in less than 15 minutes with stops at seven stations, including:
- MGM Grand
- Bally’s / Paris Las Vegas
- Flamingo / Caesars Palace
- Harrah’s / The LINQ
- Las Vegas Convention Center
- Westgate / Las Vegas Convention Center
- SAHARA Las Vegas
Face masks are required to be worn throughout the Monorail system and riders are encouraged to maintain social distancing when possible. Hand sanitizer will be available at every station.
While Clark County will return to pre-pandemic guidelines on June 1, Clark County will continue to follow CDC guidance, which still requires masks in some places and situations, including any business or venue that requires it and all public transportation and transportation hubs. Please check mask and occupancy guidelines before you visit an establishment and stay home if you are feeling unwell.
