Miami (Saturday, February 25, 2017) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) confirmed today the classification stage groups and calendar for theCONCACAF Under-20 Championship 2017, which is currently being disputed in Costa Rica.Mexico, current champion, alongside Panama and El Salvador secured a spot in the classification round by winning their respective groups. Honduras, United States and host Costa Rica finished as runners-up and will also be looking for a direct ticket to the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Each qualified team will now play each of the other two teams in its classification phase group. The winners of each group will then face off for the Confederation’s under-20 title in the Final, to be played onSunday, March 5 at the National Stadium.

The top two finishers of each group will qualify among CONCACAF’s four representatives to the FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017.

All matches will be broadcast live in Canada, USA, Panama and across the Caribbean on Facebook Live via the CONCACAF Facebook page. In the United States, a select number of matches will also be live on Univision Deportes Network (UDN). Fans in Mexico can follow all of the action on PCTV and TVC Networks.
