Sir, I understand progress and technology, even greed, yet how far does it go, how far do we as fellow human beings allow others lack of humanity to go un-challenged and who is to judge someone else on personal, beliefs, customs, traditions and morality having murdered thousands of people in the name of progress and technology and greed…

This entire planet is made for all people and only psychopaths and sociopath think they have the right to invade, people, places, environments waters that are not theirs at any cost Exxon, Honduras, Nicaragua, Monsanto… To name a few…

So, it is with great regret and a deep sense of urgency That I must write to you today, my people the Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) continue to suffer at the hands of Daniel Ortega Saavedras, The Honduran Armed forces and his Sandinista Army to the point that the Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) nation are not even aloud to fish in their waters, but strangers drill for oils in Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) lands! or farm their sovereign domain.

Each structure that is built has been torn down, even private conversations are monitored by the Sandinista and Hondyran Army. There are no freedoms allowed, people from other countries buy up Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) land and we are looked upon and treated less than human, they deny us our dignity. In short we are treated like criminals, if we cannot build, fish or farm our land, survival and development becomes impossible.

We Need Our Voices Heard Through The World:

We want the world informed, we’d like petitions signed, we’ are capable of being self sufficient, we are not asking for a hand out, just our birthright, treated with dignity and the seizing of the genocide on our nation! Please help us.

We need your help in stopping the ethnic cleansing of over one million people, drug runners converting our children to users, dealers, trafficking of young girls, illegal mining, eco and environmental abuses in and on the Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) Coast Nicaragua/ Honduras side.

The United States and the commitment to democracy is in peril. Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) is becoming a breeding ground for extremist, totalitarians including Isis right at the U S Backdoor and democracy; they are removing all the Miskitu aka.indigenous, traditional, and native people from their homes and if not stopped you wll see an influx of immigrants unlike ever before and believe me when I say US A is a great country yet we will not be ready for such a movement nor do I know these people to want to leave their own homes…

With the proposed building of the Chinese operated Canal only comes further destruction of our Moskitia/Mosquito ( Miskitu) land mass including Moskitia/Mosquito ( Miskitu) territory beside, Honduras and surrounding areas. Then there’s the unauthorized unsafe extraction of uranium with no thought to ecological, individual and environmental safety.

We the Moskitia/Mosquito ( Miskitu) Nation were told if we gave up our arms, we would have protection under the United Nation charters. We complied but as usual Daniel Ortega and his Sandinista Army refuses to live up to any of his agreements and his tyranny continues subtly, hidden and quietly.

With the above in mind I think that you can see and feel Our URGENCY and the necessity to send to you the enclosed documents. Your Response is crucial to saving the lives of the Moskitia/Mosquito ( Miskitu) Nation.

WE the People of the Moskitia/Mosquito (Miskitu) Coast, were a free people before and during the British and European global conquest, Spain or no one ever conquered us instead Britain approached us with treaties. We recognize a lot of things were done to many a native people and that is what those times were. We do not hold it against Europeans or the Moors.

We do however know that the wrongs that have been done continue at the hands of the governments that claim dominion on lands that were never theirs. We speak the language and were there from the beginning of man or rather simply we were there first, the land was not desolate and un populated when the Spaniards arrived…

All that is born on the earth to the earth has a right to be on it and inherit it there are no superiors and inferiors on this planet because we all lack something and have our purpose so rather than envy or misunderstand another’s capabilities or difference, we go to school or /and learn it/them.Man, woman, child…

We have so much more to discover about our humanity but how can that be done at the price of any other person, we fail to see the humanity in that. We fail to see the civilized and modern world where we sacrifice whole nations for our own material desires and status and fame! There are other ways to deal with our human made worldly problems all we need is time, The Miskitu nation is running out of time. My mother and I have given all we can. We need help! Our nation is brilliant we just need a chance to exhibit and exploit our own selves and bring out part to the world not end up refugees and immigrant in lands strange and discriminating towards us. Even if we were damned fools, one can’t just decide kill and erase something or something/someone that has materialized, born, sprouted on to the earth, it’s time to bring our humanity to an age of maturity and wisdom and stop destroying ourselves, the planet and hope.
