OPEN LETTER TO THE UK ECONOMIST EXPERT  NOW IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS

It is a gross injustice for the government of the Cayman Islands to disenfranchise its people by freely granting work permits to every Tom, Dick and Harry collecting millions in fees.

WHILE CAYMANIANS ARE DENIED JOBS FILLED BY EXPATS less qualified whereas Caymanians are even more qualified; positions range from skilled, unskilled, office workers, entry level , persons with bachelors, masters, degrees, or no degree, experienced, great expertise.

Consequently: Caymanians are on social services aide whereas Foreigners fly in and are granted jobs immediately with a work permit granted by government to accommodate them and allow them to live in dignity; while all dignity is removed from the lives of Caymanians who are REFUSED EMPLOYMENT on every and all occasions. What kind of mother country is the UK to allow this? Or are you the reason it is happening to us?

THE UK SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TO CONTINUE TO ALLOW THIS.

The government officials have admitted that government needs the funds from the work permits.

Well this is a disgrace and NO GOVERNMENT SHOULD MAKE MONEY BY SELLING THEIR CITIZENS AS SLAVES IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY.

I would not be surprised if the UK is behind all this. We should not raise funds for education from work permit fees. We want this to cease and a cut back on work permits granting scam; our children are returning home from college and high school grads need jobs, they are refused employment in their own country! taking to crime because of the work permit scam executed by government. This is a disgrace.

George Town MLA Mr. Ellio Solomon has a bill proposed to force employers to pay $2500 contributed to an education pool to train Caymanians while jobs are filled by foreigners, this is absolute HOG WASH, and horse manure! The jobs belong to Qualified Caymanians in the first place, are you saying that we are now selling Caymanian young people at $2500 each while they wait 10 years for an expat rollover permit or key employee status  to end, then the employer comes back with a defense of a big lie that” oh, The Caymanian needs more training?!”   THIS IS ALL HOG WASH.

THE UK ECONOMIST MUST NOT LEAVE CAYMAN UNLESS HE FINDS A SOLUTION AND A REPLACEMENT FOR THIS NOTORIOUS LUDACROUS SYSTEM OF SELLING WORK PERMITS TO BUSINESSES IN EXCHANGE FOR A FEE, the price of a slave, now a Caymanian, who are pushed out of society and wind up in soup kitchens and social service.

In my opinion this has got to be some kind of conspiracy, because all the worlds money can be traced back here to the Cayman Islands!  So Why in the hell do we need to sell work permits if there are billions and trillions of dollars here in our banks to the extent that the UK sees us as a threat to their financial industry!  Then the work permit scam is nothing more than a weapon of oppression to keep Caymanians jobless, poor, helpless and politically weak!

There is no need for work permit sales if monies were taken in large enough banking and companies fees to replace these disgraceful work permit fees.  This is a noose put around the necks of Caymanians they are forced to wear and are humiliated daily as they watch expats enjoy shopping, driving by in their luxury cars, and take their families on vacations while Caymanians are disenfranchised from employment have to walk, catch busses,  or jitneys, and stand in soup lines, and beg for social service handouts.

IF THE UK ECONOMIST DOES NOT FIND A SOLUTION WHILE HE IS HERE THEN WE ASSUME THAT THE UK IS A PART OF THIS CONSPIRACY AND THE PEOPLE NEED TO RISE UP AND BRING THIS WORK PERMIT CRIME AGAINST US TO AN END.
