Mac will still be a political force
With former premier of the Cayman Islands, McKeeva Bush, announcing he was to hold a meeting in George Town Thursday night and his move on Tuesday (18) with his United Democratic Party loyalists to remove Juliana O’Connor-Connolly, MLA Cline Glidden Jr., Mark Scotland, Dwayne Seymour and Ralston Anglin from the party…
This means Mr. Bush will not go quietly despite his numerous announcements he was undecided whether he wanted to remain leader of the UDP after March 2013.
He still has a strong hold in West Bay but I am doubtful if he has anything like the same in George Town and Bodden Town. In fact any that he did have in the latter has gone, since his Bodden Town dump proposals.
We will be listening with much attention to what he said on Thursday night.
