Man Arrested for Murder in Relation to 1997 Cayman Brac Incident

This morning, 8 August, officers arrested a man, age 76 of Cayman Brac, on suspicion of murder in relation to the death of 35-year-old Eva Glee Ebanks in an incident which took place on 16 October, 1997, in Cayman Brac.
This arrest follows a re-opened investigation by the RCIPS Serious Crime Review Team, which has taken place over the past three years. The investigation was also covered as part of the “Cold Case” series, a collaboration between the RCIPS and Cayman Compass.
The man has been released on bail with conditions as the investigation continues.
