Yesterday, 17 April, a 54-year-old man of North Side was charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving and Causing Death While Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in connection with the collision on 21 February 2016 which caused the death of Denvil Mitchell.

The collision occurred between a Kia Sportage and a motorcycle on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Hirst Road; the deceased was riding the motorcycle.

The man has been bailed to appear in court on 5 June 2017.
