Police have confirmed a man has been shot in West Bay.

This latest shooting comes less than 48 hours after Robert Bush was murdered in a car,also in the West Bay area.

Detectives were carrying out a detailed search of the scene where the shooting took place.

Sources say the man received multiple gun shot wounds.

Paramedics were called but the extent of his injuries are not yet known. He is thought to be in a serious condition.

Father of one Mr Bush, 28, died on Tuesday night. Police are yet to make any arrests.

It is not yet clear if the two incidents are related.
