Maples and Calder staff dress down for charity
Dressing casually for work on Fridays may be an added perk that many take for granted, however the staff at Maples and Calder have the opportunity to take it one step further and regularly contribute to various charities on a monthly basis in the form of these dress down days. Each month a donation is made by each employee for the privilege to dress casually on Fridays, the amount of which is then matched by Maples and Calder and divided evenly between two charities.
For the month of January the Lighthouse School and Cayman Animal Rescue Enthusiasts (CARE) each received a donation of US$2,647.41. A total of US$5,500.74 was divided between Junior Achievement and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society for February’s donation, and the chosen recipients of March’s donation of the same amount are The Cayman Heart Fund and The Nathan Clarke Search Fund.
Maples and Calder actively supports a broad range of organisations, which benefit members of our community, including the youth and the elderly.
