On Friday, 29 May more than 160 staff from Maples and Calder and MaplesFS participated in the island-wide dress down day in support of Feed Our Future. Each donning this year’s red T-Shirt, the participants raised more than US$8,000 for the local charity for a second year in a row.

“The Maples group has been supporting Feed Our Future since its inception, not only through their annual dress down days but also in dress down days organised within our firm and various other fundraisers throughout the year,” said Paul Lumsden, Managing Partner of Maples and Calder’s Cayman Islands office. “As such, we are pleased to assist this organisation yet again in raising awareness of the issue of childhood hunger in our community.”

Feed our Future is a not for profit association whose primary mission is to solve childhood hunger and to support intellectual nourishment in the Cayman Islands through the funding of nutritionally balanced low cost or free school meals to children in need in public and private schools thereby serving a dual purpose of enriching the learning potential and health of the child and reducing the burden on the community that supports them. Feed our Future was established in mid-2011.
