From the Deputy Governor

Good morning Everyone. Hurricane Ian has passed us and we are beginning to see the weather improving.  

The Plan at the moment is to discontinue the Hurricane Warning for Grand Cayman and the TS Warning for the Sister Islands at 1pm.

We have dispatched our damage assessment teams throughout Grand Cayman and depending on their assessment we could issue the All Clear for Grand Cayman at 3pm.

We will issue warnings of rain and heavy wave action and urge persons to exercise caution.
