Michael B. Jordan tweeted his ‘Black Panther’ involvement into existence

BY MARTHA TESEMA From Mashable

Black Panther is a groundbreaking film for a variety of reasons, but it’s also the backdrop to some actors who just might be clairvoyants.

Take two of the film’s stars, for example: Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke. Both dreamed of one day starring in a superhero film while studying at Yale, and coincidentally, were members of a club on campus co-founded by Angela Basset, another Black Panther star. A young Ryan Coogler was quoted in a newspaper about his dreams of being a director back in 2007.

And now, a tweet Michael B. Jordan sent in 2012 is proving he, too, may have foreseen this whole thing.

“Marvels black panther!” he tweeted. “Would love to go toe to toe with iron man and the hulk! Def would be a dream role.”

While the tweet was fired off nearly six years ago, it’s resurfaced in the wake of the overwhelming success of the film. It’s even inspiring some folks to speak their own dreams into existence, or at least acknowledge that it might just help get the ball rolling.

Tweet out your intentions, folks, and maybe you too will find yourself in a blockbuster superhero film. Or maybe not. But just in case, go ahead and fire off that tweet.
