Ministry of PAHITD Unveils Exciting Line-Up for the 2025 Cayman Islands Agriculture Show

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; March 3, 2025 – The Ministry of Planning, Agriculture, Housing, Infrastructure, Transport and Development (PAHITD) is excited to announce the upcoming 2025 Cayman Islands Agriculture Show. This highly anticipated event will take place on Ash Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Agriculture Grounds in Lower Valley, Grand Cayman. With the vibrant theme ‘Food Security is Everybody’s Business,’ the show will feature an impressive array of activities aimed at celebrating our local achievements in food security, promoting sustainability, and fostering community and regional engagement.
The Ministry of PAHITD continues to collaborate closely with the Cayman Islands Agriculture Society to ensure that the Agriculture Show remains a cornerstone of Caymanian culture. This partnership highlights a profound commitment to preserving the rich traditions of our islands while advancing modern agricultural practices.
This year, the Honourable Johany Jay Ebanks, MP and Minister of Planning, Agriculture, Housing, Infrastructure, Transport and Development, is delighted to host a delegation from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The delegation will be led by Honourable Jomo Campbell, Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources.
The 2025 Agriculture Show will kick off with a highly anticipated Roots Rock Reggae Concert later tonight, March 1, 2025. This event will showcase Caymanian talent alongside renowned international reggae artist Taurus Riley, who is expected to captivate the audience with powerful performances and inspirational messages. The official guests from the Bahamas will also enjoy engaging farm tours, highlighting the advancements made under the Cayman Islands Nutrition and Food Security Policy.
The Agriculture Show serves as an excellent opportunity for participants to connect, learn, and collaborate on initiatives that support our shared vision of enhancing food security in the Cayman Islands.
