The first event of the pageant season starts with a bang, as Miss Cayman Islands meets Miss Universe.

On Saturday, 25 June, potential contestants for the 2017-18 Pageant will have an opportunity to meet our own Miss Cayman Islands, Monyque Brooks, and Pia Wurtzbach, the reigning Miss Universe, as she makes an appearance at the annual Meet & Greet event.

This prestigious event will be held at Lobster Pot Restaurant in George Town, starting at 7:00pm. Miss Cayman Islands Committee Chair, Derri Dacres-Lee, looks forward to speaking with young ladies who are interested in becoming the next Miss Cayman Islands. “This is an amazing opportunity, as our current and past queens will attest to.  In addition to finding out more about pageantry experiences, I invite the public to come out and meet our Miss Cayman Islands, and the reigning Miss Universe from the Philippines,” said Ms. Dacres-Lee.

Tickets for the event are on sale at Le Classique in George Town and Sand Angels in Camana Bay. There will be limited tickets available at the door. Guests will have an opportunity to take professional photos with Miss Brooks and Miss Wurtzbach during a special photo session at the end of the event.
