The Royal Cayman Islands Police Services is urging motorists to take extra care whilst driving in the current conditions.

Patrol officers have advised that the following roads are as of Monday flooded;

George Town

The main entrance and exits routes from Windsor Park,

• Anthony Drive in the vicinity of Miss Nadine’s Pre-school,
• Templeton Lane
• Oakmill Drive
• Windsor Road ( vicinity of #69), and
• Eastern Boulevard.

These roads are not accessible by small vehicles.

The Red Cross is available to assist residents who require sand bags

West Bay

Four areas in West Bay are subject to flooding, these are,

• West Bay Road Public Beach on the beach side
• Brocah Close, located off Meadow Avenue, Mount Pleasant. This area is impassable at this time.
• Mount Pleasant Road intersection with Meadow Avenue.
• Garston Smith Road

Eastern Districts

Officers are currently assessing the flooding in that area and an update will be provided as and when available.
