Most will send cards – Go to a party this Christmas Season
Parties are a highlight of this Christmas season for many people, but traditional caroling isn’t nearly as popular.
Eighty-eight percent (88%) of American Adults celebrate Christmas in their family, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. (To see survey question wording, see below.)
Sixty percent (60%) plan to attend a Christmas party this year.
Fifty-four percent (54%) will send out Christmas cards.
But just nine percent (9%) say they will go Christmas caroling.
The survey of 1,000 Adults nationwide was conducted on December 11-12, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
