Armed robbery at Tortuga store

At 10:14 a.m. Saturday (8) morning, RCIPS officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Tortuga Liquor Store on North Sound Road, George Town. It is understood a quantity of cash was stolen.

Motorcyclist hit by car -UPDATE

On Friday June 7th 2013at 5:10pm  police were called to an accident near the junction of Shedden Rd. and North Sound Rd., George Town involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.  The rider of the motorcycle was taken to the George Town Hospital. The driver of the motor car received no injuries.

He was treated for minor injuries and later released.
