Mourant Ozannes’ International Trust & Private Client Conference set for 3 October 2014 in the Cayman Islands
Leading offshore law firm Mourant Ozannes is delighted to announce the date for its fourth International Trusts & Private Client Conference in the Cayman Islands. The conference will be held on Friday 3 October 2014 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
In what has fast become the must-attend event in the Cayman Islands, attorneys from Mourant Ozannes’ renowned International Trusts & Private Client (ITPC) team will be joined once again by other well known experts in the field of wealth management.
Morven McMillan, who heads the Mourant Ozannes’ ITPC team in the Cayman Islands, will once again co-chair the conference with Shân Warnock-Smith QC. Other key speakers this year are drawn from the UK, Switzerland, the USA and the British Virgin Islands and include Kobi Dorenbush (Caledonian Group Financial Services), Andrew De La Rosa (ICT Chambers), Anthony Poulton (Baker & McKenzie), Dawn Goodman (Withers), Joshua Rubenstein (Katten Muchin Rosenmann LLP), Nicholas Holland (Bircham Dyson Bell) and Tina Wüstemann (Bär & Karrer).
They will join Mourant Ozannes’ speakers Jim Edmondson, Jeremy Wessels, Jonathan Speck, Christopher Edwards, Bruce Lincoln, Lucy Diggle and Eleanor Morgan in what promises to be another fun and informative day. The programme will include a mock court application and breakout sessions as well as discussion of conflicts of interest, jurisdiction issues and how to secure the payment of costs for fiduciaries who are not trustees.
This year the conference is being organised in collaboration with Caledonian Global Financial Services, while Rawlinson & Hunter will be hosting a speakers’ dinner on the Thursday evening before the conference.
Conference founder and co-chair Morven McMillan noted:
“We welcome the opportunity to build on the great success of this annual conference in promoting the Cayman Islands as a centre of excellence in wealth management. We are delighted to welcome Caledonian Global Financial Services on board as our collaborating sponsor this year and look forward to welcoming our delegates to the conference in October.”
