Protecting your music related Brand name is your responsibility and should include securing your .MUSIC domain name now. The good news is that you still have time to register before Global Availability opens in June 2024.

If you are in, or represent an artist, band, or music related business (record label, promotion, distribution, publisher, recording studio, etc.), now is the time to secure your .MUSIC domain prior to GA.

To prevent fraud, all submissions are followed up with a verification process to assure that the actual entity is the one to receive the .MUSIC domain. Once approved, a token will be emailed providing the approved entity (or representative) the ability to purchase and secure their domain prior to GA. Once approved, the offer to purchase the domain with the provided token will be $65/year. Like other top level domains (TLD), multi-year options will also be provided.

There is no cost to proceed now — which I urge you to do ASAP. Lock in your desired .MUSIC domain(s) now to avoid any potential disputes.
