Today around 2pm a Chevrolet and ice cream truck collided on South Church Street, near Denham Thompson Way (Sand Cay apartments). One person was injured, though not seriously.  Traffic has been diverted onto Walkers Road.  South Church Street is blocked in both directions, and is expected to be cleared around 5:30pm.

Motorists traveling from George Town along South Church Street should be able to travel as far as Webster Estates before being diverted (however, residents living near the site of the MVA should talk to police on site to be admitted further).
