Abstract painting is a style of painting that fools many people into believing that the creative process behind it is simple. However, the most challenging aspect of painting an abstract image is to create depth and visual tension through unusual effects, without losing the interest of the viewer or disturbing the balance of the overall composition. The best introduction to this process is an abstract studio, where you can be as messy as you want using the different techniques of mixed media and where you can observe the sometimes unexpected results obtained by other students.
