National Trust for the Cayman Islands, Little Cayman District Committee 28th Annual Rescheduled Easter Auction
WHAT:
Join the National Trust for the Cayman Islands (NTCI), Little Cayman District Committee for their 28th Annual Rescheduled Easter Auction. This is one of the highly anticipated social event of the year for both NTCI members and the general public. Attendees can look forward to a fantastic silent and live auction. Popular items at the auctions include local artwork, items that best represent our islands, merchandise and services that have been generously donated to help the NTCI Little Cayman District Committee raise funds for conservation.
This year we turn our efforts once again to the surest method to preserve the natural environment, land purchase. We have been able to place under contract a 17 acre parcel of land on the Nature Trail. It is adjacent to another National Trust for the Cayman Islands owned parcel at the west end of Little Cayman and nearly doubles the contiguous area held by the National Trust for the Cayman Islands at this location. It is prime Sister Islands Rock Iguana habitat in an area that is now seeing mounting pressures of speculative real estate development. We now need to raise funds to close on this property. Cash donations are welcome. Please visit www.nationaltrust.org.ky and click on our donate button to make a monetary cash donation and select Little Cayman District Committee.
We are asking for your donations of merchandise and services again this year, for both our live and silent auctions.
