Inspector Wendy Parchment assumes duties as Area Commander for Sister Islands

In July Inspector Wendy Parchment began her tenure as the new Area Commander for the Cayman Brac Police Station and Little Cayman Police Station.

With 28 years of experience in operational policing, Inspector Parchment has worked at all of the district police stations on Grand Cayman. She is the second woman in 17 years to hold the position of Area Commander of the Sister Islands, and is one of the first female commanders in the RCIPS to be qualified as a Critical Incident Management and Firearm Incident Commander.

Inspector Parchment said “I am excited to be working on the Sister Islands and am looking forward to working with community leaders to solve problems.” Inspector Parchment will hold an introductory meeting with the public on Monday, 17 August at the Aston Rutty Centre on Cayman Brac between 6:30pm and 8:00pm.
