Cayman Airways is pleased to advise its customers of the new and improved departure gate at Miami International Airport (MIA). Now located at Concourse E, Gate E-2, Cayman Airways passengers have an improved transit experience as well as better access to a wider selection of amenities.

“Our new gate E-2, offers customers more choices for shopping and dining, and is adjacent to the pedestrian walkway from Concourse D, which means easier and faster transfers for our connecting passengers”, said Cayman Airways President and CEO, Fabian Whorms. “Customers arriving from all U.S. and Canadian cities at Concourses D or E now have the distinct advantage of being able to check-in directly at the Cayman Airways gate without having to clear security upon arrival into Miami,” he explained.

Cayman Airways Business class passengers and Sir Turtle Club members will also benefit from the new gate location as they will now enjoy access to the Premium Lounge located in Concourse E just steps away from Gate E-2.

The move to Gate E-2 comes as part of MIA’s three billion dollar North Terminal refurbishment project, which includes the new 400,000 square foot International Arrivals Center, located in Concourse D. Capable of processing 2,000 passengers per hour, the center features a new baggage claim level and a greeters’ lobby, providing immediate access to all ground transportation.

Cayman Airway’s ticket counter remains located on the Departure Level between Concourse’s E and F.
