Apple have announced that the iPhone 4S will be available in the Cayman Islands. Untill now only a select number of countries were able to boast and flaunt their iPhone 4S.

But Apple has made the happy announcement that the iPhone 4S will become available in China, as well as 21 other countries, on Jan. 13.

The last Friday of January will see the iPhone 4S hitting the markets in Cayman as well as, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Central African Republic, China, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and Uganda.

This translates to the iPhone 4S selling in 90 countries at that point of time. Apple CEO Tim Cook will be rolling out the smartphone and calls this one the “fastest iPhone rollout ever.”

The iPhone 4S is said to be the main force behind Apple’s fiscal first-quarter results, that will be out on January 24.

Apple said in October that it sold 4 million iPhone units in the first three days after the launch of the 4S, which should help with its financial performance.

The iPhone 4S boasts voice recognition feature. Apple integrated Siri personal assistant application that the company took over last year on its iPhone 4S. Besides, it also offers iCloud cloud services, iMessaging, a revamped Safari browser, better newsstand browsing, a unique notification centre, and a whopping eight megapixel camera to take one’s breath away.

At its launch in the beginning of October, iPhone 4S became the fastest selling iPhone ever and topped 4 million in the first three days of availability. AT&T announced activating 1 million iPhone 4S devices on Tuesday, setting a record for fastest selling iPhone on the carrier. Before that Sprint has stated that iPhone 4S has topped all previous one-day sales records for the company.

It runs on a dual core A5 processor and an upgraded GPU – which makes it a seriously refined gaming device – a new app lets you send physical postcards with a tap, and it is faster than any other phone around.

It is being touted as the best phone going by any yardstick. iPhone 4S is the highest selling smart phone in the market and despite great strides made by Android smart phones, it remains the best smart phone available in the market right now.
