New Speaker and Premier elected in Cayman Islands LA and Cabinet
Hon. McKeeva Bush has been elected unopposed as the new Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
Hon. Alden McLaughlin was elected again as the Premier and was unopposed.
All elected members to the LA were sworn in by the Governor of the Cayman Islands HE Helen Kilpatrick.
The Leader of the Opposition was announced as Ezzard Miller.
The ceremony moved outside the LA where members of the Cabinet was sworn. These were:
