Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, March 6, 2015: This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the official Best of Cayman Awards, and Caymanians, local residents, and Cayman visitors are invited to nominate their favourite places in the Cayman Islands. Nominations are open and currently being accepted online at www.BestOfCayman.com through Friday, March 13th, 2015 at midnight.

Best of Cayman launched in 2005 after hurricane Ivan to help stimulate tourism and generate buzz for local businesses. This year marks the 10th Anniversary for Best of Cayman, so there is a lot to celebrate. The 2015 Best of Cayman Awards are going to be a spectacular event this year, and the company will be rolling out new technology that will turn the Cayman Islands into an interactive and rewarding experience for locals, businesses, and tourists.

Founder and CEO Carrie Layne says, “It has been really exciting to watch the nominations pouring in from the local community. Our mission is to honour and recognize all of the great people and places that make the Cayman Islands the BEST year after year.”

Each person with a valid email can nominate up to three local businesses at BestofCayman.com in categories featuring the:
Best Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, Places to Stay, Spas, Things to Do, Services, Hidden Finds, and more. This year, visitors can also select “Local Person” from the dropdown menu, and submit their own Best Of category to submit a nomination for someone on-island that deserves the title and recognition as the Best of Cayman.

The nominations are open through Friday, March 13th, 2015 at midnight at BestofCayman.com, and nominees will be announced in March.
