The National Trust for the Cayman Islands have announced along with the Office of the Governor, the Governor’s Conservation Awards to honour leaders in conservation and historic preservation in the Cayman Islands.

Nominations from individuals and organisations can be submitted to the National Trust up and until 22^nd September. The nomination guidelines are shown hereafter and you can download the application form from www.nationaltrust.org.ky or go to the National Trust office at Dart Family Park on South Church Street.

The awards will be presented in four categories; Conservationist of the Year, excellence in Corporate Conservation, Tourism Industry Conservation and Heritage Preservation, with the categories designed to cover business in all major sectors of the economy as well as individuals working in the conservation field.

The awards will be given out at the National Trust’s 25^th Gala Dinner on 27 October , 2012. See flyer below.
