O2Micro Receives Patent for BMS Invention
This invention enables multiple battery charging modes based on individual cell status. It controls adapter output via a control signal from a command circuit integrated in the battery pack, saving PC board space and reducing cost.
“This BMS invention ensures that battery charging is terminated when all cells are fully charged, avoiding any over-voltage, over-charge and over-current conditions,” said Bill Densham, strategic marketing director at O2Micro.
