Olympic Day 2013 is Sunday (23)
In the past Olympic Day has solely been a 5K Run/Walk in the Cayman Islands, but this year we have invited our National Sports Federations to showcase their sport and engage the community. If you are interested in actively participating in an event, check out Golf at 12pm or register for the 5K Run/Walk.

Olympic Day is FREE and open to everyone. This event will not be used to raise money, but strictly to promote Olympism. All participants in the 5K Run/Walk will receive goodie bags, a free T-Shirt, refreshments, and will be entered in to a random drawing for a chance to win some great prizes! Cay-Fan merchandise will be available for purchase from 4pm – 6:30pm.
On 23 June each, Olympic Day is celebrated all around the world: hundreds of thousands of people – young and old – get moving and participate in sporting activities. The event is hosted to promote participation in sport regardless of age, gender or athletic ability. Over the last two decades, the event has helped to spread the Olympic ideals to every corner of the world. The CIOC has hosted this event for several years and every year it has become a bigger success.
