With regard to the discovery described below on Cayman Brac on Monday, please be advised that ten packets altogether were recovered, with a total weight of 69.5 lbs.  They consist of vegetable matter resembling ganja.

Packages of Drugs Discovered off North Side of Cayman Brac     

Packages of drugs washed up on the north side of Cayman Brac late Monday afternoon, 24 August, about 5:30pm, in the vicinity of Spots Bay.  Police recovered the packages and the marine unit assisted in searching the area, but no other packages were found.

The packages are under examination and we will provide updates as available.
